Pupil Distance 64 vs 68.5 a big deal?
My recent visit to my eye glass place resulted in a PD of 64. Previously for years it had been 68.5. That's in mm. Is this a big deal? Did the eye glass place possibly make a mistake?

that's weird. I wouldn't have thought that it wouldn't/shouldn't change much if at all. If it did change that much, then I'd think you'd have double vision or one of the eyes is wandering, but I'm far from expert.

I ended up phoning then going back to the store. Turns out the machine says 67. so they are reordering them in 67. SO apparently it's enough of a discrepancy to worry about. I had had them a few days and still hadn't adjusted to them. FWIW

Go see a ophthalmologist, and skip the beginner with a machine that seems to be rather vague.
A ophthalmologist can check your eyes for a lot of thing the dime store glasses shop just cant do. I go once every year. I take my prescription to the optometrist to get my glasses made if there is any change.

It really depends on how strong your RX is. What's your RX?

Probably measured using a harbor freight tape measure...they’re never accurate.
