He is ambitious and a good leader. ( I guess it helps he borrowed my copy of my Chief Petty Officer leadership book) I cannot describe how proud of him I am.

Promotion story from long ago. As told by a friend who was on the staff of a General.
General: "You've been in the Army long enough, why aren't you E4 now?" Friend: "Sir, the Captain says no promotions to those who don't join him for PT at oh-six-hundred." Outstanding, Congrats to both of you, but especially your son! You did your best to give him the tools he needed and steer him down the right path, but he's the one that had to get his butt down that road.

What a great update, Sandy....you have every reason to be proud. I would be: Your son looks happy and proud of himself, the best gift of all.
I will say, as an Army Brat, that Army uniforms look as busy as the 405 at rush hour
