That is amazing. But I would think a rain forest shelter needs a roof. And there is no WI-FI service!

The "sleeping quarters" did have a roof. It's just the courtyard/swimming pool that didn't have a roof.

I have never once, ever come across soil like that. Carving it up with a knife like that, to me, is more like sawing packed snow than digging dirt.

I’m gonna construct a free-standing lumber door jamb and plant it in the field. Using a snowblower, I’ll diligently cover it with surrounding snow as weather permits. Once the mound with the frame within is large enough I’ll start dig out the doorway and carve out a cave behind it.

I’ve read igloos can attain a temp of 50° in sub-zero conditions.

I’m skeptical.

How would that house fare in the rainy season....it would be a waterhole !

So just how long did it take them to dig that structure. The video makes it appear only 1 day. They don't talk much either!
