Anyone know comics?

I found a few comics in some boxes I was going through last weekend. I've moved so much since 2007 that there are boxes of stuff I hadn't gone through since then.

These 3 comics were in one of them. I sadly did not grow up as a comic fan boy. They've since kind of taken over the world! I don't know where they came from. I'm guessing my ex bought them at an estate sale or something.

I've done a little bit of research but thought I'd see if anyone here was an enthusiast who could provide more info or where to look.

$40-30-20 bucks. Assuming excellent condition. The market crashed mid 90s and never really recovered except for a handful of stellar titles.

Think I had the Star Wars at one point back in the day.

Market got Crazy. Books had to be "MINT"to find a buyer. No one wanted a book with a crease or tear.

What you want to do is search ebay and select "sold listing" for similar items. That is your best bet for finding real world prices to items like this. Condition is important, though, so there could be a lot of variability.

Certified comics (you will see the keyword CGC in those listings and they are encased in tamper proof plastic containers) sell for more than "raw" comics, like the ones you have, so keep that in mind. The ones you have look like they are in nice shape -- maybe 8.0/VF.

I've got a stack of stuff from the early 80s, some a little earlier and some a little later. Lots of X-men, Daredevil, etc... All are in really good shape. I assume it'd be a pain in the rear to sell them, and what I'd see them for sale by a shop is probably not nearly what I could get.

I suspect the most valuable thing I have is probably the Wolverine mini series. Most of the time I see the set of 4 for $100 - $150.

Back in 1967 I was at the age to love comics, and I bough t a lot of them at the 12 cents cover price. I had a stack of comics two feet tall. Dad was in the air Force, so we had to move yet again. I had to just toss them in the trash as they were not getting moved.

To be honest, they were all in well worn condition. They were treated like a 12 cent comic and a new issue was coming soon.

The local grocery store would have a pile of comics with the covers ripped off in the back. My mom would dump me there while she shopped. That was the beginning.

Have a long box downstairs with x-men 98-250. First run of moon knight, Cerberus the aardvark, and everything frank miller did from daredevil to 300.

Once had a tall stack of Conan, Conan the king, Conan the conquer, Kull, Red Sonja, 26 Conan paperbacks.
Also had many early Daredevils, complete 1st eds of Electra Assassin, frank millers Batman, Ronin, etc.
(Most grew legs due to my poor choices in past acquaintances.)
Still have a couple left plus a Milo Manara and a Mobius i think.

Despite the beautiful artwork, I did not follow into the newer sjw political trends with some titles.
