Daytona Beach Webcams
 

I looked at the webcams at Daytona Beach and New Symra Beach today a few times.

It sure seemed like there were way more people on the beaches that there ought to be given the COVID-19 outbreak. I assume many of the people there flew there and plan to fly back home...

Is there no respect for others? Are they stupid? Do they just not care? :confused:

I guess there are only 9 confirmed cases in Volusia County so far...

I suspect that's because they have moved indoors are and trying to find mates.

So, can me make this thread not be worthless today? It's Friday, there are nubile women all over the beaches trying to become famous by doing stupid things, and this webcam thread should be the permanent documentation of such activity.

THese are probably 17-25 year olds (probably mostly 18-23 really) that we're talking about, right? When most of us were that age, what was your primary focus/concern? How worried about older people were you? How much thought did you give to illness, injury and mortality (at that age isn't everyone invincible)?

I was mostly worried about getting VD, buuut not all that much. That was also the age when I used to go hurricane surfing too, and rode my motorcycle wearing a T shirt, jeans and sneakers.

I was mostly worried about getting a girl pregnant!

Back when I was 12 or 13 I figured out that the really hot chicks were the 18 to 25 years old girls. Now many many long decades later, I still feel absolutely certain I was right, and I still think the same thing!

Back then they did not want anything to do with me, and now that is for sure the case. I can still admire the view!

All of this! I rode my motorcycle in a swimsuit and flops to the beach, no helmet. I knew STDs were possible but surely you couldn't get it from the nice pretty girls.. D'oh!

Ah to be young and stupid, and seemingly invincible again.
