Regulars around my place in NW Whizconsin and should be out roaming and hungry about now. Only issues I have had are a bitten water jug left on a table and a bitten LP tank cover. I pretty much leave nothing remotely edible outside to attract them these days.
Had one drag off 2 Sun Showers at a fly in camp in Manitoba several years ago. I was sleeping in a tent due to the snoring volume inside the cabin and they were both next to the tent; never heard a thing but found footprints and drag marks. The owner said this is common as they like to chew plastic and were especially fond of Sun Showers, possibly because of the gel. Huh??
Much respect for their weapons of choice and convenience.
