Scotty Kilmer ?
You guys like him ? Any body who has ever searched for a car repair video, has surely run across a few of his vids .
I don't dislike him, but think he is pretty quirky , I found a bunch of Parody videos that I thought were funny .

It seems the only car he truly likes is his 94 Celica

my wife does..i hear that catch phrase all the time. i think he contradicts himself all the time. he will bash the ecoboost motor and then tell you the f150 truck with the ecoboost is the cats' meow.

I had to google the name but yes i've see him before. Can't handle him. Don't think i've ever made it through an entire video of his.

I haven't seen his new stuff but, having watched too much of his "rev up your engines" bullschitt, I have to say he comes across as one of the biggest morons on YouTube. And there is some stiff competition...

Can't stand his hands flailing all about.
Comes off as a little weird, I have doubts of his mechanical knowledge.

Kilmer has three million subscribers. There's something to his annoying delivery that hooks people. I don't get it. I don't dislike him and some of his videos helped me.

He's OK, but agree his voice can be tough. Not my favorite YouTube car mechanic. I prefer Eric The Car Guy or Scanner Danner.
But Scotty is also from Houston, so I'm always interested to see what/where he's filming. |

I can’t stand Scotty Kilmer. My brother sends me his garbage all of the time... I sent him the second video above and told him it was the best Scotty Kilmer video ever...

People seem to not understand what it means. Maybe I'm going curmudgeon but "back in my day" an unreliable car was one that broke down on you. It left you stranded, got you on a first-name basis with the towing company and your service dept mechanic. Or the engine needed a rebuild after tens of thousands of miles. Nowadays, people screech like a stuck pig if the CEL comes on because they forgot to tighten the gas cap, a car's a unreliable piece of junk if it needs maintenance before it hits 200k miles, and 90% of the time when I see late-model car being towed, it's been in an accident. Probably the worst car on the current JD Powers survey has fewer issues than a Honda or Toyota 15-20 years ago, but you don't get clicks or views for pointing that out.
