What is this car(s)
My cousin's husband has a car addiction well past mine which is nothing to trifle with, he just picked up 4 bodies with enough parts to build 3 cars. There may not be enough in this pic to say what car is but there is one clue relating to the company and WWII.

I think when Tony Lapine was at Porsche, he had the special works department make him an MG TC with a Fiat 124 Twin Cam engine and a 5 speed.
I always wanted to make a Lotus 7 replica with that engine, although later I wanted a supercharged Miata engine. I knew a guy who had one with a Honda VTec, and another guy with a Spitfire with a Toyota 4A GE Twincam and a Miata rear sub frame. The car had an under slung frame, and weighed about 1800 pounds. I drove that car a number of times, but I do not fit well in Spitfires. It was a real ripper though, and did well at autocross. You could throw it hard into a turn, and it would take a perfect set. It never bit if you over drove it. |
Yeah they didnt make a whole lot of them they wernt around very long between the depression and wwII. Iv only seen a few in real life they are quite small with the cute little flathead. Iv got a Bantam t3-c trailer to go with my 46 Jeep. Its a well built unit iv hauled alot of weight in it.
