Elissa is home from the hospital
Elissa is home from the hospital 33 days later!!!!! After 19 days in the ICU, a tracheotomy, multiple chest tubes, several bronchoscopies, and so many other procedures she has finally recovered and healed enough to come back home. One of the requirements for discharge was to walk 20 laps, but she did 25 just because she COULD for the first time ever! I can't help but tear up just looking at her. She's definitely all banged and bruised up from all the blood thinners which makes it even harder to see when seeing her scar cut across her chest. Here are some photos that she has shared from her page if you're not following already.
