That is NM 14 between Golden and Madrid, NM. Beautiful two lane, lightly traveled road with many views out to the west where it seems you can see forever.

When 14 gets too full I really love to head to 41. From up here in LA, my favorite is to go way south to Belen and over the hump on US60 to Willard, then up to Moriarty and through on 41 to Lamy. Skies to everywhere no matter where you look.
