Copperhead (Agkistrodon contortrix )

In snake ID circles, one of the big "clues" is the fact that the pattern from the side looks something like hersheys kisses. That only works if it's NOT a broadbanded copperhead which is what we have here where I live.

THis is the copperhead that I stepped on a few weeks ago.

Owner is local (Not too far from Road America), drives them and has a couple Caddy hearses also.

He says that appx. 700 of these limo’s were made each of those years.

I thought they were really cool old (and very original) cars. Interiors had a neat 3rd row seat that tucked up underneath the front row seats.

Looks really cool, but I treat mine like a rented coal mine mule. I beat it, torch it, take a pipe to the jaw crank handle, so the finish wouldn't last on mine
