Board?

Some don't look that physics defying. If the tail of the board is really "in" the wave, that's not that surprising. Water is heavy and the force of moving water is impressive. But some, like the one that Baz posted where it looks like the board is sticking straight out and several feet of the board are between the water and the person on the nose, look like they should be impossible.

Excuse the size, but this one is pretty cool too.https://64.media.tumblr.com/966efe29...60e1ab04a4.jpg

It looks like the stern of the boat was going up over a wave.....just as the pilot took off.
That put the helo angled and moving forward....just as the ship rocks back.
(notice there's a light and probably a tower in front)
Plus a skid might have gotten caught in the net.

Pilot quickly yanks back the cyclic stick and crashes the tail rotor.
(there is a guard ring which is ineffective)

A lucky spin and a perfect dump back to the surface ends it.

Are you talking about the helicopter or the guy stuck out hugging the deck for dear life during the event? Either way, I think you're probably right.

May as well pee into the tank. Urea and water. Buc-ee's sells DEF at a few of its locations in Texas.

Seriously why use a pump that looks like gasoline? OK sure she's uninformed but dang that's begging for a nuisance lawsuit.

I don't think it was sold in the US.

I guess some people never owned a Diesel before.

Diesel nozzle is to large to fit into a gas hole.

Good to hear those nozzles are larger diameter NOW, but they weren't always. I don't know when the change happened, but I have heard of people filling up a gas car with diesel years ago.

1986 Diesel Golf bought new, drove until 1990, and the nozzles were different sizes then.

The big semi-trucks had even larger nozzles for their lower grade Diesel (Diesel #2).

I guess a mislabeled gas can could be an issue.

Leaded gas and unleaded gas nozzles were different sizes too back in the day. Good old government regulation and standards.
