How in the world would they get such famous law-men and criminals in the same pic?
I have no proof that it isn't really them, but I am a tad skeptical.
More likely it's a pic of real ranchers and such were were missidentified.

Growing up, several of my friend's and neighbor's dads worked at that mine.
Took a field trip there too, couldn't believe how big it was. Like looking at the grand canyon.
Someone said it would would take an entire shift to drive to the bottom and back one time, not sure if that was exaggerated.

Christmas circa 1964 or 5 maybe, my brother got first choice and picked the dump truck so I got the loader, I was bummed.
You could put your knee in the bed of the truck and ride it like a scooter. Back when toys were made of steel and indestructible.
