But that he wants to is the reason, because he likes guns, he likes shooting, because it's fun, because he has interest in the mechanical aspect, loves the smell and noise, because he's a high functioning hoarder, because he makes money with it...whatever his reasons for wanting to..
not "because he can". he can wear a dress as well, but he doesn't.. why, probably because he doesn't feel like it. Because you can =/= Have a desire to do so Wanting to >>> has a reason You don't want something for no reason. I can buy a Mustang.. So why don't I? Because I have no desire to do so and prefer a more elegant car. Because I care for crowds in public places Because they are taxed way to high around here Because I think V8's don't sound as nice as Flat 6'es, I6'es or V12's.. a Right = /= a Want http://forums.pelicanparts.com/uploa...1628256526.png |
Our constitution has that wonderful bill of RIGHTS.
No other country on the planet would even think of allowing a citizen to to have a collection like his, because they don't have the right to own guns as part of the basic laws governing how the government can operate. If is not just because we wants to, it is because he has the the RIGHTS to do so. He likely personally owns more weapons than the entire country of Australia and Great Brittan combined outside of the military. If you had the money can you own fully automatic 50 cal Ma Deuce, and a couple of operational tanks? Only because he has the right to, he does. http://forums.pelicanparts.com/uploa...1628258038.jpg |
you need both !!
You can't invent logic or change language. the right to something and the desire to are 2 completely different things. The first is a function of being allowed , You have NO (or at least very little) control over it. second is a function of reasons to want to do it.. That's personal , each person has different reasons. Again.. You have the right to wear a dress For your reasoning to make sense, you now have to go buy a dress, because you can and according to you that's all the reasoning you need. I think you should try something with polka dots. I think you can pull it off. You can!! http://forums.pelicanparts.com/uploa...1628258391.jpg |
GH85carrera,
I suspect more than 95% of the population of the USA has the same right, but choose not to do so. That confirms the reason he collects all that stuff to compensate for something is because he WANTS to. http://forums.pelicanparts.com/uploa...1628258641.jpg Best Les |
I have the same right.. I can buy guns
I have had guns.. So it's not that unique to America either. It's less regulated in the US, i'll give you that. but the right is here as well It's more of a privilege in the way it works , and bit more hoops to jump through, but I can.. And I have. Because I liked shooting as a hobby, it's fun, I like the noise, the being outdoors, the challenge and competitions.. In the US the right is really only a privilege as well, it's not an absolute right since it depends on the state for a large part but also the City (NYC for instance has stricter limitations then Belgium).. and it is conditional.. You can't if you have felony convictions despite what the Constitution says. Same here.. Can't get it if you have a conviction, except it's reversed, you have to show that you don't have any and then you can buy a registered gun. Hell, it's probably easier to own select fire here. Collectors here can freely exchange select fire weapons without any tax stamp nonsense.... http://forums.pelicanparts.com/uploa...1628258903.jpg But I guess that's more for PARF then for pictures thread, it's going a bit to far for this thread.. So i'll stop here. |

Not for use by medical staff in for instance a surgical environment. They are for the general public. the masks they use in hospitals for medical use, are considered medical devices and the production and handling process is up to a MUUUCH higher standard. They will be FDA audited and are batch tracked.. the ones for the general public will have other ratings like ISO or FPP or whatever and in most cases do exactly the same thing.. They are just not certified like the medical ones. cops in Holland stopped an unsteady scooter driver. Turns out been riding with sticker on it for 3 years. Oh this comes off? wow, now i can see much better. Ya think? http://forums.pelicanparts.com/uploa...1628267010.jpg |
