I think it's pretty cool as well.

We used to walk our dog in a neighborhood where 2 houses had stamped and dyed driveways. They looked nice. What I noticed however is that the effect was greatly impacted by how much of the cement was done.

To me, this didn't have near the visually pleasing impact

The brakes feel a bit spongy! Maybe duct tape will work better., and more zip ties.

Bend the line back on itself and crimp it. Vice grips work. It will at least get you home.
