http://forums.pelicanparts.com/uploa...1736950290.jpg Those Kodak 110 Cameras were small enough for women to put in their purse and carry at all times. The film was just 110 mm so the negatives were tiny. They were passable but already a bit grainy as a 4x6. Enlarged to a 5x7 they were very grainy. 8x10s just sucked. And many photo labs had a "technician" that had no idea of what they were doing in mixing the chemicals, and making a print. It still blows me away that I can whip out my cell phone and take a better photo than a 35mm professional camera. As long as it is within normal distance. http://forums.pelicanparts.com/uploa...1736950290.jpg http://forums.pelicanparts.com/uploa...1736950290.jpg http://forums.pelicanparts.com/uploa...1736950290.jpg http://forums.pelicanparts.com/uploa...1736950290.jpg |

I've seen beautiful women ruin themselves with cosmetic surgery. It's usually painfully obvious, like weird noses, cheek bones, chins, or lips or skin that looks like wax or plastic. Years ago, I knew a really beautiful girl that was also super sweet. I don't know how old she was, but I'm pretty sure she was 20-25. I didn't see her for a while, and then saw her again after she'd had something done to her lips. It may have just been the top lip, and it was very slight (not like she went for the Angelina Jolie look). But it was obvious, and caught me off guard. I didn't say anything, but it stopped me in my tracks for about a second, and then I recovered. Still, it was enough to make her start crying. It wasn't too bad, but it still wasn't any sort of improvement. I'm hoping that whatever it was, it was the type that would wear off after some period of time. I think the first wife is a lovely woman. The second wife was also striking in that pic. Maybe in the first pic, it's mostly unflattering light and make-up. She doesn't look that much different than she did in the pic where she's attractive. |

Thanks for posting. This pic brings back many happy memories. Learnt to fly in Victa Airtourers with Wellington Aero Club from this strip in 1967! Lived over the hill across the harbour in Johnsonville. Had to catch the train and bus to the airport because I was too young to drive, but had my PPL! Windy? I remember taking off from one end of the runway, climbing to 1000' and doing a touch and go on the other end. That was in a demo Champion Citabria. |

They were amazing at the time. |

I remember back in 1967 watching TV, and listening to the radio for any hint school was closed when we had an ice storm. There was no mention of a closings. So we hopped on our bicycles and headed to school. The ice made bike riding difficult, and I would crach, and just slide along. Get up and go again. We got to school, and it was closed. http://forums.pelicanparts.com/uploa...1737207209.jpg The mass of the supermassive black hole TON 618 is thought to be about 40 billion times that of the Sun. Furthermore, it is *much* bigger than our solar system. Our entire solar system, from the Sun to the far-off Oort Cloud, would disappear under the gravitational pull of TON 618, which has a diameter of 30–40 times that of the solar system's outermost reaches. http://forums.pelicanparts.com/uploa...1737207209.jpg http://forums.pelicanparts.com/uploa...1737207209.jpg http://forums.pelicanparts.com/uploa...1737207209.jpg http://forums.pelicanparts.com/uploa...1737207209.jpg |
