The Bundy Residence is the main location of Married... with Children and the home of the Bundy family.

The address of the house is given as 9764 Jeopardy Lane or 9674 Jeopardy Lane in season 4 and it is located in Chicago, Illinois[1][2]. It seems to be situated close to an expressway on a hill not far from Bills Hilltop Drive In. [3][4]. Next to it on the right is the Rhoades/D'Arcy Residence.

The actual house, which was only used for outside shots, is located at 641 Castlewood Lane in Deerfield, Illinois[5]. In season 1, the house is shown to be a medium-to-dark brown color, but starting in season 2 the exterior shots show that the house was painted to a light beige color, with white trim and shutters.

The exact floor plans of the residence are not known but several fans have made plans themselves. While the layout of the ground floor is easy to make out from what can be seen on the show, the upper floor is never fully shown so its floor plan is up for speculation. The first alternative for the upper floor shown below[7] makes more sense, though, from what can be seen on the show, as it includes the corridor.

However, the show does make the continuity mistake that whenever something falls out of a window upstairs. No matter what room it fell from it always lands on the patio in the backyard, even if the window would be on an entirely different side of the house.

I don't think I ever watched one episode of Married with Children.

I do know that when I got my first computer I started playing with the loan amortizing program. My loan was a real bargain (really) at 12.5% as the banks were charging 18% in the early 80s. Calculate a home loan at 18% and see what your house payments would be. I ran my amortizing and discovered after couple of payment I had like 12 bucks in equity, so I owned 1/2 a doorknob at most. It really sucked at the time.

I bought my house from the owner, and he carried the note. We shook hands on the deal on November 1st, and I was living in the house on the 10th of November. I wish I could find someone will to pay me 12.5% interest on a home loan.

Looks somewhat like a Liberty Ship.
Was it a survivor from the the Ghost Fleet removed (or scrapped) from SF Suisun Bay in 2017?

That is really neat.

My fathers Dad was a civil engineer and worked at the Kaiser Shipyards in Richmond, California during WWII building Liberties and working on other ships.

He was an expert welder and they valued that talent more than his engineering skills - he taught a lot of people how to weld:D

Great dude. 5'9" Scotsman with a hair trigger.

Pretty sure this is the one Glenn posted, made in Richmond.

The SS lane victory was built in the port of Los Angeles.
Remember the movie Sand Pebbles with Steve McQueen?
The hollywood mock engine from the san Pablo in the movie where the coolie gets killed is on the Lane Victory.

Quote:

Lane Victory has been used in many movies, TV shows and commercials because of her excellent working condition.[12]
The ship's wakes were used in the 1997 blockbuster movie Titanic for the titular ocean liner's wakes.[13]
She also served as the setting for the climax of the comedy film The Pest the same year.
Other films in which the ship appeared are: Black Ops (Deadwater) (2008), Flags of Our Fathers (2006), GI Jane (1997), Pearl Harbor (2001), The Thin Red Line (1998) and U-571 (2000). (note: this is a partial list)

Some TV shows she was featured in are: Alias, Baywatch, California Gold, Mail Call (episode #70), MacGyver, Murder She Wrote, the National Geographic Channel, NCIS, Port Chicago Mutiny (TV movie), Return of the Pirates (History Channel), Special Ops Mission and Unsolved Mysteries. In the Season 6 King of the Hill episode "Returning Japanese: Part 2" (2002), Cotton is sent back to the U.S. aboard Lane Victory. (note: this is a partial list)

In 1999 the ship was used in a Ford Super Duty commercial and Disney's "Golden Dreams" commercial. (note: this is a partial list)

The engine housed in Lane Victory's forward hold exhibit space was used as the engine for the fictitious gunboat USS San Pablo in The Sand Pebbles (1966).[14]

It is so cool that those ships have not only survived, but are restored and fully functional.

For sure one of the many pieces of the puzzle that won WW2 for the good guys. Imagine, they built one entire Liberty ship on ONE DAY! Just to prove it can be done.

The eagle was on a perch about 10 feet off the water when I spotted him, allowed me to get within 100 feet but I spooked him/her when I got my camera out of the waterproof kayak console.

Flew up in a tree then took off again, not allowing me to get that close again.
