Is that from Thunderbirds or Fireball XL5 (which I watched a lot when I was a kid). It doesn't look like Fireball XL5 characters I remember.

A few of John in the early days with his '59 Cab: http://forums.pelicanparts.com/uploa...1660067575.jpg http://forums.pelicanparts.com/uploa...1660067575.jpg http://forums.pelicanparts.com/uploa...1660067575.jpg And a few from his final tour - a warm evening in LA, outdoors, small venue. Even though he struggled a bit with his surgeries etc, he seemed to have a great time, and I know the audience did too. Sadly he passed not too long after this concert: http://forums.pelicanparts.com/uploa...1660067688.JPG http://forums.pelicanparts.com/uploa...1660067688.JPG http://forums.pelicanparts.com/uploa...1660067688.JPG http://forums.pelicanparts.com/uploa...1660067688.JPG |

I'm wondering if there's one that we can't see in the coil behind the shock.
I can only assume they wanted to "stiffen things up" for load carrying or something. It looks like they left one coil "open." How long do you think it took for the spring to break adjacent to one of those welded in supports? https://i.pinimg.com/736x/e1/65/42/e...-jeep-mods.jpg |
I'm seeing this kind of thing a lot.
I'll bet driving this in the rain, or better yet, driving off-road through sand/dirt/mud is a lot of fun with the tires flinging sheiße inside the jeep, on the jeep on the windows, etc.... http://cdn.shopify.com/s/files/1/271...g?v=1590186143 |
