Yep, I am a certified skeptic of most everything and I opened the image in Photoshop. I drew a box around the first vehicle, copied it too the paste board, then placed the copy on top of the rear vehicle, Changed opacity to 50% so it was translucent, and it is the same size.
http://forums.pelicanparts.com/uploa...1694109550.jpg I had to verify this one in Photoshop as well. Zoom in and use the info tool. There is no yellow where your eyes see it. |

Yeah, my brain 'sploded also http://forums.pelicanparts.com/uploa...1694111063.jpg |
Goes to show how much evolutionary pre-processing is needed to interpret the raw images we get from our eyes. Quite astounding! I wonder what the world would look like without our built-in interpretation structure.

on the colors, if you really focus on the "yellow" spot, you (I) can see that it's just white & black stripes. But when I look at the whole picture, it definitely looks like a yellow circle. http://forums.pelicanparts.com/uploa...1694114260.jpg |
I used my thumb. 1". Fist is 4". Fist plus thumb is 6". Catchin all those tasty waves bro ham is 9". Foot is 12". A regular walk step is 3' as is the center of body to the fingertips. Distance to floor is zipper. Armspan is same as the total 6' height.

Claiborne County, Tennessee, 1940's... A scene from inside a "country" grocery store near Cumberland Gap, Tennessee. An elderly man and woman, who appear to be the proprietors, stand behind the counter. A man and woman, perhaps customers or "loafers", are on the other side of the counter. Various products for sale can be seen in the store. An 1886 edition of the San Francisco Examiner stated "At the Selby Smelting Works at Vallejo Junction 160 men are employed, and wages average about $2 a day. I just got a set like this that covers 2" - 6" ($25) except that I need to get the little wrenches for it. Fortunately, they seem to be available from Starrett. I think I can call Starrett and order them direct. https://teddawsonantiquetools.com/cd...g?v=1663619850 I already have a 0 - 1", so I'm missing 1" - 2". THis is crazy. Here's 12" - 16" https://i.ebayimg.com/images/g/GagAA...xv/s-l1600.jpg 16-20" https://i.ebayimg.com/images/g/eKAAA...-N/s-l1600.jpg 20-24" https://vbindustrialsupply.com/cdn/s...g?v=1677118977 |

The number of movie ranches up there as well as the number of corporate parks, like the Douglas Ranch, etc. tells the history of Hollywood's and Aerospace's golden era. Simi Valley and the SF Valley down to Malibu, great places. Much of it now gone. |
