Edit: If you are referring to Mt. Roraima, I'd enjoy hearing more.
Your information on the mountain could not be further from the truth, from its location onward. Its linked to the lost world, caused SA to split from Africa when the mountain chain erupted, its a great story but that write up is total crap. I worked throughout that mountain chain for years and it is the lost world. SmileWavy |

I used to bartend in a "gentlemen's" club. One day a waitress came down from the VIP room laughing hysterically. It seems one of the customers got drunk enough to let slip that he liked a good beating, and was allowing any of the dancers or waitresses that wanted to have a go, to tune him up. Apparently, he REALLY wanted to be be painful. They eventually got ahold of a men's leather belt and a line of them had a go. The waitress said that you could feel the welts on his azz through his pants. Generally, none of the girls, dancers or waitresses are actually happy to be there doing whatever they are doing and most of the men are trying to screw them all out of money (no pun intended). So when the chance came for a little physical violence.... |

A recent photo of a donut shop still using a Commodore 64 as their cash registers. At one place I worked just a few years ago we had one old PC with 640K of memory, booted from a DOS 6 floppy. I printed labels and nothing more. No need for a newer computer. http://forums.pelicanparts.com/uploa...1738850621.jpg http://forums.pelicanparts.com/uploa...1738850621.jpg http://forums.pelicanparts.com/uploa...1738850621.jpg http://forums.pelicanparts.com/uploa...1738850621.jpg http://forums.pelicanparts.com/uploa...1738850621.jpg |
