I think this is really cool. When not in use, it's just decorative, but it can be put to good use.

We had this place in Ft Walton Beach called Suds and Cinema. They would show Rocky Horror there and Heavy Metal!!! On Sundays, they would show Nascar races. You could sit there and watch the race and order pitchers of beer, and you could smoke in there if ya wanted. https://uploads.tapatalk-cdn.com/202...12af62c196.jpg

… How d'you do, I
See you've met my
Faithful handyman
He's just a little brought down because
When you knocked
He thought you were the candy man

… Don't get strung out by the way that I look
Don't judge a book by its cover
I'm not much of a man by the light of day
But by night I'm one hell of a lover

… I'm just a sweet transvestite
From Transexual, Transylvania, ha ha

… Let me show you around, maybe play you a sound
You look like you're both pretty groovy
Or if you want something visual that's not too abysmal
We could take in an old Steve Reeves movie

… I'm glad we caught you at home
Could we use your phone?
We're both in a bit of a hurry (right!)
We'll just say where we are, then go back to the car
We don't want to be any worry

… Well, you got caught with a flat, well, how about that?
Well, babies, don't you panic
By the light of the night, it'll all seem alright
I'll get you a satanic mechanic

… I'm just a sweet transvestite
From Transexual, Transylvania, ha ha

… Why don't you stay for the night? (night)
Or maybe a bite? (bite)
I could show you my favorite obsession
I've been making a man
With blond hair and a tan
And he's good for relieving my tension

… I'm just a sweet transvestite
From Transexual, Transylvania, ha ha
Hit it, hit it, I'm just a sweet transvestite (sweet transvestite)
From Transexual, Transylvania, ha ha

… So, come up to the lab
And see what's on the slab
I see you shiver with antici-
-Pation
But maybe the rain
Is really to blame
So I'll remove the cause
But not the symptom

Songwriters: Richard O'Brien

Richard O'Brien (Riff Raff character) wrote all the songs and co-wrote The Rocky Horror Picture Show screenplay. Pretty impressive!

I did the same, read the article and thought "crackup?"

The world's only intact Roman legionary shield was discovered in 2009 at the site of the ancient Roman city of Dura-Europos in modern-day Syria.
This extraordinary artifact, dating from the early 3rd century CE, provides invaluable insight into the daily life and military equipment of Roman soldiers.
The shield, made of wood and iron with a detailed boss and bronze fittings, was remarkably preserved in the anaerobic conditions of the city's soil. Its survival offers a unique glimpse into Roman military history and craftsmanship...

Yes, it's real...

and on another note, unfortunately no photo.

Someone the other day posted that they'd had a new windshield installed on their boxster and since then their windshield wipers weren't working right (were running slow). Some guy asked "was it an OEM windshield or aftermarket?" which I thought was weird so I asked "does that matter". I got the following response.

Quote:

Believe it or not, it can. I just had my Macan’s windshield replaced with domestic glass. The bottom of the windshield had a distracting distortion. But my wiper settings was whack out, all of the settings were considerably slower that they should have been. I spoke to my friend who is a Porsche Gold Level Technician. He said that he has seen all sorts of unusual issues when a windshield has been replaced with non-OEM glass at a non-dealership auto glass shop. He said that he had no good answer as to why this may occur. He said he usually recommends that the windshield and its calibration be performed at the dealership with OEM glass. The shop that I used removed the non-OEM glass and replaced it with OEM glass and recalibrated the sensors. Everything works fine now.
Now I'm wondering WTF he means about calibration of the wipers?
