I’ve seen a smaller version of that video. Most likely Ferrari driver ran out of talent, if he had any at all.

I have not been to the tale of the dragon in years, but from the number of cars in the video, it looks like you couldn’t do much there

Its pretty hard to tell from that video whether the Ferrari is over centerline or whether the truck failed to account for the box width.
I personally think the Dragon is stupid. Too many people, too many bike/car accidents. Just not interested.

That's been around since posted of FB 1021. I think it was posted on YT as well earlier but certainly later. I found 10 so far.

And of all the clips I have seen that is the worst. I'd be ashamed to post that it I watched what I had shot first.

I drove the tail on 06/28/2008 which was a Friday morning about 9:00 AM The traffic was light except dozens of motorcycles going stupid fast.

Overall the tail is way overblown as a great road. Yea, it was fun, but Arkansas has roads like that for long miles and lots more elevation change and minimal traffic.

That crash was just a Ferrari driver with pitiful driving ability.

My rule is to think of the yellow line as a concrete wall. I will not cross it ever. Same with the while line on the inside of the lane. And I keep it at 75% of limit on public roads.

Oops! Looks like he was too hot entering the corner and crossed into the opposing traffic. Blammo! Forgot the 1st rule of high performance driving: Just don't hit stuff!!!

You need to search for the semis that follow gps onto the dragon. Will make you think twice.
West Va has 3000 roads as good.

There are so many incredible roads in the area, I can think of no reason to follow a line of traffic through that particular stretch of highway.

I live very close to the Dragon and take it for both fun and as a route to Knoxville. Weekends during warm weather…NO. Mid week…DEPENDS on the time of the year. There are so many great roads around here that the dragon is just another road. Actually, the lead up to the tail coming from Cherokee is a faster road with beautiful views along the lake. I did come across a new AMG GT Black that out drove his talent on that stretch…no right rear wheel, lost rear bumper and a trashed passenger side in a mild S curve, the car still had dealer plates on it

When I see cars or bikes cutting the corners I immediately assume they are low talent racecar wannabe's since there is is no reason to cut the corner unless you are in a race (which you ain't bubba). It takes more skill to keep it in the lines.

I have what I call the " 55 mile loop " near me . Lots of curves and elevation changes with some great views . This loop is only 20 miles from our house . It is busy on the weekends but during the week nada . Being retired I go during the week . I can set my pace , get into a rhythm and just enjoy the music from the flat six . It is therapeutic.
