ACI insurance.
American Collectors Insurance. Anybody have experience with these guys? USAA suggested them.

Not heard of them
|
I hadn't either. They are about $250 cheaper a year. A couple of pizzas and a few beers.
|
Have used them since 1985...
Only had one claim, for a deer hit on the 911, and they were excellent. Prices less than Haggarty, it seems. |

I have USAA and I've called American for a quote on the '44 Jeep a couple times using 10K as agreed value. $25 bucks cheaper for 6 months as opposed to a full blown policy with a stated estimate of less than 100 miles/year. I just leave it on the policy with the other 3 cars and can use it as I wish, any time, any day, anywhere.

Had them for a few years. No claims though.
They get real cheap if you have 3+ cars. |
Have them on 911SC and 930. No claims but happy. USAA for all the other stuff.

Wow. Just to update, added my 96 sl600 to the existing 911 policy. Added less than $125 for 500 ded collision, comp, 100/300 liability, 300 um/uim. Sheesh, was paying 600/yr with State Farm on a normal auto policy with no collision. Unbelievable.Total premium for 2 cars of under $450. 911 valued at 25k and roadster at 12k. 911 is non stock and driver quality so its not that low.
I do have a 5000/mi limit and no regular use, but given that I'm retired, I don't really "regularly" use any vehicle. They do allow occasional transportation use, so no problem going out to dinner or down to the beach. They also have a 7500 mi tier for a little more. |
