I have a few Roman coins and wonder how many people have held them. Nearly 2,000 years old coins.

Hardly any value in them. Are you willing to sell?

Congrats, you played the game well. That price was going up like a bottle rocket and pretty certain to burst shortly. Never sweat missing the absolute peak because almost no one ever catches the absolute peaks. Very solid gains, nicely done!

One is clearly hand made. I always wanted a real expert to tell me what they are.

Thank you! This was the best trade of my life actually, and it made up for all the bad ones I have made before, and then some...
I still have some long, less risky silver investments (SLV), and I still think silver is going to $50 before end of this year.

I have two early Roman coins. When I was a kid (1960's) I was a big coin collector. An uncle working oil rigs in the middle east sent me a couple dozen old coins. One of the Roman coins can't be more than a quarter inch in diameter and is nearly as thick as it's diameter. Somehow or another my little sis took possession of them and has them to this day.

That's exactly the way I feel. Why aren't they priced higher..considering their age??
Morgan dollars go for more than some of ancient coins...doesn't make sense.

I bought this silver dollar several years ago on ebay for $1500. Today, per PCGS, it is maybe an MS40 and worth maybe $10K.

Todays price for bulk silver is $28/ oz. In 2000 it was around $5/ oz.

I like gold. "All my life I’ve been in love with its color, its brilliance, its divine heaviness. I welcome any enterprise that will increase my stock, which is considerable."

The bottom fell out of that one quickly.
Down to 150.
Still pretty good for getting in at $40.

And I got out at $228, before the bottom fell.
Well, I still kept some in a Roth IRA, just in case. It’ll pop back up, eventually .
