Anybody know bugs? Termites?

I found these insects (below) yesterday at the outside bottom of my patio door. We had our house tented and fumigated for termites about a year ago so seeing these made me more than just a little nervous.
I don’t know what they are and I don’t know if they’re termites, but I will say the ambient air temperature was a very abnormal 113° at my house that day and I know termites don’t like heat. Anyone know what they are? Any help would be appreciated.

TIA,

David

Those don't look like the termites I've seen. Those look more like flies or bees.
Termites are typically long, skinny things with longer wings.

agree, not termite

My termite guy said some kind of hornet. Erring on the side of caution I thought I'd get a second opinion. Thanks.

I’ve just never seen a bee so small:

Mason bees...considered good guys here because they are pollinizers...and with honey bees having problems, we need all the pollinizers we can get. I even hung some homes for them here...drilled holes into sections of 4X4, hung 'em on my woodshed...

Sweat bees are actually flies that have camouflaged themselves with bee-like coloring. They like to suck the salty sweat off of exposed skin. They do sometimes bite but they are mostly a harmless annoyance.

The OP's bugs are small flies, close to fruit flies. Nothing to be concerned about.
