Not a big croc.
These guys are used to them anyway. Not all crocs are man-eaters. Many are no different than any wild animal. Curious but most of the time afraid of humans. Looks like this one is more curious than anything else. Great video, Bill......thanks for sharing!

Familiarity breeds contempt... or, in many cases with wild animals, complacency. That said, however, these two obviously "know" one another, having some history. And the man is familiar with croc behavior, understanding full well Mr. Bonecruncher is in no way looking for a meal. Still, a bit more caution and a bit less bravado for the camera would seem prudent. Let's not "Tim Treadwell" this thing...

I’m pretty sure I can’t walk on water but if I came across one of those things, I know I’d be able to run on it!

The guys that work "Up North" are notorious for stuff like this. Most of them carry sidearms. (Big arse revolvers)
They may look nonchalant but they know exactly what they're doing. That's not a big croc but he'd mess you up. True story... Some years ago "they" were preparing for a Presidential visit of Bill Clinton in Darwin, Northern Territory. A team of US Secret Service guys used scuba gear to dive into a river near the convention centre as part of the preparations. (security checks for explosives etc.) That river was infested with crocodiles. The Secret Service team was told about the crocs but they didn't hesitate. They geared up and jumped right in. I wonder if that's in their job description somewhere. ![]() BTW: Bill Clinton has made many trips to Adelaide, South Australia because R.M. Williams make custom boots for him.

Like many things. It's all about knowing what you're doing.......and being comfortable doing it.......

Now even if you are comfortable (and trained) there could still be some limitations on what you'd take on....... ![]() ![]()
