Still is so far as I know!

Either that, or North Broadway.

She put offers in on two houses over the weekend. Didn't get either. One was built in 1910, had 900 square feet, and needed a new roof, HVAC system, and complete electrical system in addition to some floor joist work. Asking price was $350k. Around here, a house like that would run you $40k in pristine condition, probably less than $20k in comparable condition. I don't have details on the other.

I looked at a job in Everett about 15 years ago. I remember the realtor trying to push me to look at living in Mukilteo. I drove around Everett, and honestly didn't think much of the town. Just kind of ... blah. But there are a couple blocks along the water (or rather the neighborhood on the cliff that overlooks the ocean) that looked nice, and I recall thinking how affordable those ocean view homes seemed to be.

The Whidbey ferry schedule was cut back due to covid... i've heard that the waiting lines are really bad now.
