Ahhh....

stevej37 01-17-2022 06:19 PM

Stafford looking sharp...so far.

stevej37 01-17-2022 06:25 PM

That should have been called an incomplete pass.
He didn't have control of the ball before it came out.

I'm guessing they reverse the call.

stevej37 01-17-2022 06:30 PM

Ha!!

stomachmonkey 01-17-2022 06:31 PM

wow, that was interesting

stevej37 01-17-2022 06:38 PM

Oh man...the Cards can't get a break.

pwd72s 01-17-2022 06:41 PM

Saul. Saul Over. Who is it that the Rams go on to play?

stevej37 01-17-2022 06:44 PM

^^^ TB...Tampa Bay
That will be a good game...if the Rams hold on here.

I'm looking to see if the movie "Heidi" is on anywhere... ;)

(sorry..only the fellow elderly here will get that.)

A piece of trivia:
On 11/17/1968, in what is called "The Heidi Game," NBC infamously cut off the final 65 seconds of the Oakland Raiders / NY Jets game to start the movie, "Heidi." In that time, the Oakland Raiders scored two touchdowns to come from behind and win the game. As a result of that incident, games are now broadcast to their conclusion, even if they run long.

stomachmonkey 01-17-2022 06:47 PM

I came in during the 2nd.

Have the Cardinals even made it past midfield yet?

biosurfer1 01-17-2022 06:48 PM

Every playoff game except the 49ers and Raiders has been boring as hell, blowout by halftime usually.

Hopefully the 2nd round is more entertaining.

I was watching that game. It took a moment then we ran around trying to find a radio.

The performance by the Cardinals is making me feel better about how the Steelers played last night.

flatbutt 01-17-2022 07:24 PM

11-6 in the regular season then this....supports the contention that the playoffs are a season unto themselves.

cabmandone 01-17-2022 07:52 PM

Watching a guy get carted off the field always sucks. Hopefully Baker is okay.

What an ugly effort by the Cardinals they just didn't show up . They will not enjoy watching that game tape .

cabmandone 01-18-2022 04:50 AM

The Steelers were the best losers! Scored the most points of any losing team in the wildcard weekend. Wooo Hooo that's our Super Bowl.

He looked like he was out cold from initial hit then rolled his neck.

Hopefully just a bad concussion although those are no bueno either.

cabmandone 01-18-2022 07:04 AM

^^^
That reminded me! I wanted to check for updates on his status. Later in the game they reported it was a bad concussion and that he had movement and feeling in is extremities.
