He didn't forfeit $1M. He forfeited the possibility of earning an additional $1M in bonuses.
And for some reason, Brady is and has been sympathetic to the guy. He actually lobbied the Bucs to take him in after his last screw up. |

I just read an article that said the coach ordered him onto the field, but AB said "No", since he has a bad ankle. Coach said to get out there anyway. AB said no again. Coach then told AB he's cut. That's when AB went a little crazy. Maybe the coach was being reckless with his player's health, and that's just how AB behaves.

I heard it was based on the coach not letting AB back onto the field and AB needed more catches/yards to get his incentives.

I saw the medical discussion as well Charlie, and Bruce A. did say today he was cleared to play by the medical staff.
In the end, no matter what it was he was a professional and acted like a 5yo throwing a temper tantrum. |

I liked the answer that Mike Piera (the online official) gave when asked about the Bucs getting penalized for him being on the field.
He said "No penalty..play hadn't started...just let him get out of here"

AB has a very pronounced history. I believe that is isn't "quite right in the head", based upon all of his foolishness. I was disappointed when the Bucs picked him up. I was hoping he was done.

Anybody know what happened to the line judge that left the Packers (I think) game? He doubled over, pointed to his chest, was walked over to the players' medical tent then an ambulance came and took him away.
