NFL game thread
Hopefully this doesn’t PARF up a fun thread but it looks like Bill Belichick set off a firestorm with a fat fingered text congratulating the wrong guy.

Gisele's retirement note to Tom...
What a ride @tombrady ! So many memories! When I met you over 15 years ago, I didn’t know the first thing about football. But cheering for you and seeing you do what you love most made me learn about this wonderful game to the point that I seriously believed I knew more than the referees! We always had a special champions playlist for every drive on our way to the game. As a family, we always prayed for you, celebrated and supported you in every game, cheered every win and suffered with every loss. I’m so proud of you, and of everything you have had to overcome physically and emotionally over the years. I am in awe of your dedication, and of everything you have achieved. You love what you do, and you leave behind a legacy that is a beautiful example for future generations. You are the most dedicated, focused and mentally tough person I have ever met. You never once complained over the years about all the bruises and aches and pains. You just kept focusing on your goal to go out there and be the best leader there was to all your teammates. I know how excited you are about the next chapter of your life. Watching you work so hard in your football career and seeing the dedication you are now putting into all your new endeavors is incredibly inspiring. There is nothing you can’t achieve. I have always been here for you, you know that, and I’m as excited as you are for what the future holds! Words can’t really express how grateful I am to everyone who has been so supportive of my husband and our family for so many years. With all my love, Gisele

Well, it's hard not to root for this guy. He put up with a lot here in Detroit, so it's nice to see him thrive in a system that encourages him to do so. On top of that, he is just a great human.

I keep saying that Ohio State needs to step up and help UM pay Harbaugh more. If Harbaugh leaves, UM might go out and get a good coach that can actually beat Ohio State more than once every 6 or 7 years.

Something strange about the way this Harbaugh thing is working out.
He voluntarily forfeited all his post-season incentives...so money is not an issue.

I know several Michigan fans who won't lose any sleep if Harbaugh moves on.

The Washington braintrust took all this time , did countless surveys and focus groups and the best they came up with is the Commanders ? Pathetic results .

I was wondering the same thing. It took them this long to fail? People are already calling them the Washington Commies on the radio.

The Washington Football Team was great, but hey if you change the name you sell more merchandise which means more profits!!!
Lol thanks KC, my family had season tickets for a long time when Jack Kent Cooke still owned them. |

But all it takes is that a modern day snowflake be offended for an uproar to emerge.

[QUOTE=cabmando;11595855]Well that's a relief!
![]() It was all a show. https://www.mlive.com/wolverines/2022/02/jim-harbaugh-was-never-offered-vikings-job-reports-say.html UM is losing most of their defense to graduation. The offense however is almost entirely back. Maybe the os game will be closer this year.
