I really like Jay's pandemic garage videos.

I was just watching that. My father always wanted to do a 2.5 conversion on his.

The undercarriage is *slightly* cleaner than mine.

That made me miss the old E more than anything else in the last ten years.

If he keeps posting videos like that, collectors will catch on, and enthusiast will get driven out of their own market.

What's he got, 10 to 1 compression in that thing? It does not sound like an early 911, not surprising when you have your own "Porsche guy" in house.

I'm kicking myself for not going up to Jay to say hello at Laguna Seca in 2001. But I think YouTube has allowed him to really express himself in a way that he could not otherwise.

I gotta to get out driving that road more often hoping to run into his interesting cars. I have yet driven my long hood since I drove it home. I didn't want to called "rich" guy with a porsche with all the BLM BS going on Even though its miles away from us. Don't need a rock through the windshield at the off ramp if they happen to be aorund.

Cool video!
Jay seems to have the connection with his Porsche, even with all those other great cars all around.
Nicely Done restore job, to a good driver condition, and then driven.

Cheers Richard

Jay is a neighbor at my work space in Shadow Hills, I see him all the time. He drove past yesterday as I was pulling out of the driveway in one of his antique cars from the '20s, I didn't recognize it even when I pulled up even w him at a light. Usually, I'll ask him about the car he's driving but I was in a hurry to get to a store before it closed.

Between him and Singer right down the street, it's a fun neighborhood for car watching.

That's a strange fear in Los Angeles...there are literally millions of people driving around in more valuable cars having no problems whatsoever.

I brought the car back the same week Floyd had his incident. I live in the northern part of the city, heck, I think we shop at the same Trader Joes across the street from Gelsons, where there's no issues. When things started to get out of hand and protests started in Pasadena, I didn't want to chance it at an off ramp if something were to happen. I am in Pasadena a lot and travel the 210 often. Since then, I left it, got busy and lost interest a bit due to large amount of work. I will get it out next week. There's no fear for me driving anywhere in the city, since its my new toy I really rather not have anything happen to it on my first drive. I have been out daily since the beginning of the year. Keep my hands clean and take care of myself.

Good show. Thats the kind of video that makes me want to hold on to my own 911 despite rarely using it.

I love the engine note. So does Jay as you can tell from his smile every time he lays into the throttle.
Great video.
