Is it built on a frame yet, or still chopped up SUV?

I do like the bronze colored wheels, the Toyota Land Cruiser I’m pondering has them as well.

Well at least it looks like a truck now. Still won’t tow my boat though.

I bought my daughter a '13 awd Pilot last fall. It's been a good vehicle for her so far. The variable cyl. mgmt. needed to be disabled right away. I don't drive it much but would never have kept it if the VCM was undefeatable. Not sure if that 'feature' is still an issue but if so, make sure to consider the problems it can represent.

If you want a tough, reliable vehicle....Honda is your choice. :)

The Ridgeline is one of those vehicles that got a bad rap right out of the gate...even thought it does meet 85% of all small truck tasks.

I ran the farm with SR-5 Tacoma's and utility trailers until we went, against my "I hate horses" sentiments and needed to tow more weight for distance.

The first Tundra's got the same treatment as the Ridgeline: They did not sell well at all until they were up-sized to match the 1/2 ton freak shows that are today's trucks.

I spent some time in a new Ranger yesterday. Me likey.

Anyway, another friend was over yesterday with his 1949 Chevy 1 Ton.

I could see myself in a Ridgeline eventually , Once I exit the rental house biz, I will no longer need a truck to carry crap in and out of the city all the time , Honda products are so well engineered .
I would still keep my dually though just because. The ridgeline would fulfill some of my truck needs, but certainly not most of them

Meh, anything with plastic fender extensions is wrong. The Ridgeline wouldn't be such a bad choice but GM's Plastic Fantastic Avalanche spoiled that image beyond repair.

Cadillac supposedly is selling a C6 pickup after the C6 sedan was killed off at the beginning of the year.

Holden's version (long out of production) was a contender in my book. They had a sport version that would definitely turn your head in a good way. I thought the thing was bad ass. The only one I saw was parked on the dock at the port waiting to tour the US a few years back.

Two neighbors have the Tacoma crewcab short bed, which seem pretty similar to the Ridgeline. Neither does any towing, heavy hauling, or off roading. They seem very happy with the truck.

I would consider a Ridgeline, or that Tacoma model. However, I’d also consider a high roof van, having rented them often.

If I could only have one vehicle as a daily driver and didn't need a tow vehicle this would be in the running. As it is I have a travel trailer and car hauler and they both are 20+ long and fairly heavy. I was thankful for the big heavy truck on Friday as we drove the TT to go camping for the weekend and the cross winds were significant. A smaller truck would technically be able to tow my TT but I'm thankful for the weight and stability of the big truck in conditions like we had this past weekend. Lots of significant hills too and the diesel will pull that trailer up any grade without hesitation.

Bring back the El Camino!
