371,900 miles on my 86 El Camino daily driver. It is my daily driver, and 99% of the time if my wife and I go anywhere, it is in the Elky. Even road trips to visit the MIL 100 miles away.

325K on our 2002 Tahoe, Did the transmission at 300K. Motor and rear end all original. Wouldn't think twice about driving it across the country.

I'm at 248,900 on my 1982 911. Bought it in 2002 at 157,000 with a fresh valve job. Case has never been opened. Still pulls clean thru 5500. Starts cold on one crank. Five year old grandson thinks the rear seat was made for him.

Just sold a 2003 4Runner with 250k plus miles.

Same with my son's 1999 Tacoma we bought new - 220k I think when we sold it a few years ago.

My daughters FJ has crested 200k and she'll drop in whatever needs to be fixed. She loves the thing and she has had it over 10 years.

I gave a 1991 SR5 I also bought new to a friend of mines son after he was selected to the Naval Academy. He still has it - nearing 400k.

Its funny, the 1996 Land Cruiser I bought from a friend of mine a few years ago had the least miles on it of all the cars the family owns - not any more since it is my DD

That's great to hear, my 2007 TL type S has 192K, 2nd owner, but I've only had it a month and a half.

In the stable, 2000 v6 Camry, 362K, 91 LandCruiser 294K, 2002 Honda Accord 293K, 2004 Acura TL 180K, 1983 944, who knows, odo gear slipped on the shaft in 1992, 118K recorded (DD for 10 years but put 25 miles on it when I fixed the odo gear short term), 2008 Acura MDX, 191K. The Ram Charger had 243K on it when sold this year.

regular maint., a bit of care as well as avoiding salt and collisions makes nearly every modern(ish) car a candidate for 250K miles, no? Salt is killing my outback but it looks pretty good for 140K. It'll get new rear wheel hub/bearings next week.

My 9 year old Tundra...

Ive even towed with it once or twice. Its still tight and runs like new. I have never changed the tranny fluid in it. I plan to do the spark plugs again shortly.

This is kilometres and was taken about a month ago.

It now has over 402,000 kms which is 250,000 miles...

As a teen, in the late 60's, it was rare to hear of anyone with over 100K on their car.
And the salt thrown on the roads was way less than it is now.

And then there were the 70's with the emission controls and gas rationing.....

I don't own it anymore, but I put over 250,000 miles on a 1993 Honda Accord LX between 1993 and 2001 when I sold it.

I had a 54 mile commute each way to work, which comes out to about 30,000 miles per year alone (adding in lunch and other crap). Add in it was our go to car for vacation, going to the former Mrs. Beard's parents, etc., and I regularly put 50K on per year for the first three years. After we acquired a Jeep Cherokee, I was generally only using the car for commuting from 1996-1998. By 1999, Mrs. Beard became a former Mrs. Beard and my commute dropped to about 25 miles each way.

I think it was about 270,000 when I sold it. It was "done". Engine ran great, but it had seized the AC, so I replaced the belt with the non-AC model. I did the timing belt 3 times. I was down to about 6 hours on the last one. A suspension member broke (really bad pot hole), among other time. I think I repaired the internal AC fan motor carbon brushes several times, since a chunk of carbon was far cheaper than a new motor. Oh, the "resonator" rusted out and I didn't have the money to fix. I found a "cherry bomb" glass-pak ($20) and brazed it into place.

I used to carry my front wheel snow tires in the trunk. If it snowed, I'd swap out the wheels. Once the roads were clear, back to "all season" tires. I could change the wheels in about 15 minutes with the scissor jack.

It was a very good car.

I have a 2015 that was on pace (now has 126K) to do that and that is the reason, well, one of the reasons, I bought my LC from a friend of mine. I have put nearly 30k on the LC that would have been all Tundra all the time.

I really want the Tundra to be the last 1/2 ton truck I own. It has been flawless.

Toyota 22R Pickups, 2 ea.
one @ 334K
the other @ 311K

Side note: I travel the I-10 E to AZ a lot, I sometime see a caravan of Toyota P/U's towing other Toyota P/U's, found out they come to SoCal to get Toyota's and then tow them to Guatemala.

Awhile ago I sold a used up Toyota extra cab 6 cyl pick up to my landscaper, he was always bugging me to buy it..it had around 200K on the clock.. After I sold it to him, I occasionally saw him driving it..

One day he showed up to get paid, and was driving a Land Cruiser.. I asked about my truck...

My truck with 200K went to El Salvador.

410,000 on my Tacoma. Timing belts and oil changes is all that’s been done. 04 Subaru WRX has 273,000. Leaks oil but still gets up and goes.
