There was a video a while back where a croc latched onto an elephant and the elephant did the Hulk/Loki thing to the croc.

I love that scene from the movie. "Puny God."

Mother nature does not care, she can be a real um witch with a slight different spelling. Cute critters die in the millions every day to feed the predators.

That croc looks huge given the size of the pond it's in.

I was surprised how quick he could lunge.
The footing must have been good in the pond.

I thought the vid would be a turtle on a highway.

^^^ They're not quite that fast...
Although one time, one of them latched onto my finger while I was feeding them.
The sob wouldn't let go and I ended up with a hunk of skin gone.

Only part of the launch is provided by the legs. Most of the thrust is delivered by the flexing of the tail, rather like an eel swimming. A croc can breach rather like a whale. Impressive.

Yes it was impressive. You can see the cheetah eyeing the water....prob seeing the croc.
A hard lesson to learn...hopefully the other one did.

Some videos show a cheetah or lion taking down a gazelle. Then you feel sad for the gazelle. Now i feel sad for the cheetah.

There are other videos where a lion has taken down a Cape buffalo. Then all the Cape buffalo herd come along and throw the lion off like a rag doll and you start feeling bad for the lion!

It’s time to switch to a “Hope for Paws” video.

Then again, I feel happy for the croc.

Nature is not sad, it is simply the way of life in the wild.

Concur.
