I read an article this morning that said there are 12 remaining survivors in the US . Visiting the Pearl Harbor memorial should be done be everyone . It is a very humbling experience . It's like you can feel the deaths that happened that day . It was quite eary for my wife and I . A sadness overcomes you . RIP to all .

My Mother's father owned a car repair shop in Oakland...after Pearl Harbor he earned a Warrant Officer and served on the USS Breton until 1946.

He led the attack on Pearl Harbor but he died a Christian Missionary.
On December 7, 1941, Captain Mitsuo Fuchida flew the lead plane against Pearl Harbor, shouting the famous code "Tora! Tora! Tora!" He hated America. But after the war, he met a former American POW (Jacob DeShazer) who had returned to Japan not to punish them, but to preach the Gospel. Shocked by this forgiveness, Fuchida bought a Bible. He converted to Christianity in 1950. The man who started the Pacific War spent the rest of his life touring the U.S. and Japan, preaching: "I was a follower of the sword. Now I am a follower of the Cross." https://x.com/trad_west_/status/1997648961381827069

Baz, That's quite a tale...
May the day come that humanity can live in peace... We all hope that while knowing it's just not our nature...
