Pontiac F40
The F40 is my 7-year-old's favorite car of all time. Finally one I can afford!!!
Can someone in Denver please go eyeball this for me? https://www.yahoo.com/autos/bargain-exotic-ferrari-f40-replica-140000297.html http://forums.pelicanparts.com/uploa...1608865737.jpg |
Same comment I had for the last Ferrari thread. "Is there a fiero under that?"
|
I always thought it would be a fun project to put a decent engine, transmission, and suspension in a Fiero. I don't know that I would do that to it, however.
|
Speaking of that.... Check out the Pontiac Mera. Dealer installed.

A buddy and I build a Fierri in the early 2000’s. Chopped up a Fiero GT and slapped on a 355 body kit. Was a total blast to cruise around in. The GM 3800 motor was a popular swap for the Fiero that gave it some serious punch.

caddy v8's with alloy block [4.1 4.5 4.9] bolt in common GM fwd v6 bolt pattern only need custom flywheel if stick
and one bolt redrilled on the northstar 4.6 v8 plus mounts ect and custom flywheel chevy mouse v8 needs a plate adpter LS1 needs more but there is a kit ls3 almost bolts in fwd motor most swaps keep the stock 5 speed in the sidewider location or the newer 6 speed GM fwd trans some others use a 911 turbo 4 speed for in line harder swaps back when those trans were unloved and cheap mostly in hi tork big block or drag race swaps as the stock 5 speed is weak for race starts a wide number of auto trans are also used inc the old caddy big block 425 inline |
The best body kits are the ones where it's not an attempt to mimic something else, and are just an expression of "what if they did this instead".
Such body kits are made for the Toyota MR2 3rd generation, although not all attempts are successful. Pontiac F40 = Fail |
I had an 87 Fiero Gt and an 84, a bro came over and purchased my 84 and turned it into a Ferrari 308, he had a datsun converted to a 250 gt ferrari and it was bad to the bone. My 87 was pretty cool, but the ignition module and the sterring rack had issues, but it was a fun car. Get it!
