I still clearly remember the day that I read Car & Drivers first preview of the NSX.
The car wasn't on sale yet and I've never read a review since that they were so enamored with. The 959 maybe. It was a real game changer....and inexpensive for it's class.

I saw my first one in LA on travel in a showroom. Laid on the ground and checked what I could of the front suspension. It was breathtaking when you are used to seeing stamped steel control arms.

That would be the one I'd get if I did. Brooklands Green.
I sold Acuras in 1994-1995 and took one out once by myself. It's like a supple race car for the street. Not too powerful, but fast enough with its light weight. I came through the Caldecott Tunnel west bound and there was very little traffic. Got it up to 135mph though the gentle chicane heading downhill and it was rock solid. I would have gone faster, but needed to be absolutely safe.

That’s a car that I’ve always wanted to drive. Even though they are now well out of my price range I’ve always wanted to experience one.

It is weird that the can't even sell them at a loss. The sales number are lower than million dollar Ferraris. One year the only sold 6 of them. Just 6!
We used to have a regular NSX driver show up to out autocrosses. He was FAST in that car.

Flipping through the pics of the 95 green one, other than the leather interior, the dash and center column look similar to that of my 98 Prelude.
My speedo is only 150 as this is 180 My redline is 7600 as this is 8000

Also....looking through the pics, hard to tell but it looks like it's an A/T
Nowhere in the write-up (that I could find) do they say.

I looked at one, a base 1994, in DC many years ago, probably 2010. I had been run off the road in my 964 Targa a few years before, looking to sell my 356 and was looking for a somewhat more livable car here in Southern Maryland. Nothing says "drive me" in this part of the world more than a functional a/c. Black, fair to good condition. The test drive was great, nothing spectacular, but I just didn't fit in the car. Pity. I am an anthropometric freak...as much as I would have liked to buy it, I just didn't want to crawl in and out. My Dad's RX-7 would still be here but for the same reason. Two mistakes, but I drove a convertible Mercedes for many years before I transition to the LC so...

It’s a 5 speed. Auto’s had the gear selector readout on the dash too. Fun cars. It’s got Vtech yo! And 270hp. Awesome visibility too.

G'day!

I did a few track events at Sebring with the NSX club. Great bunch of folks and loved the variety of their rides. I'll try to find some pics.

I always liked them, but don’t recall that they were very fast on the track. Or maybe it was superior driving skills...😂

A friend of mine had one that he supercharged. He was the go-to NSX guy here in town for many years at whatever Honda dealer he worked at.
Now he’s the shop foreman at a large Honda dealer and doesn’t seem to pull too many wrenches these days. He sold the NSX 2ish years ago and has a Corvette track car now... bang for buck and all that.
