Me too. It's like they can remember almost everything they've ever read or heard and then recall it instantly.

It's more than just being smart...

man this guy is the real deal. he knows he's right nearly every time.

berettafan 12-12-2025 04:48 PM

Ok anybody else catch Ken saying 'we'll let the phrasing slide in single Jeopardy' tonight?

what the heck?!

stevej37 12-13-2025 09:25 AM

^^^ I missed watching that one.

Usually, if they don't phrase it right...Ken says nothing for about 3 seconds and then they correct themselves when they realize the problem.

Can't believe that none of the three could get 'The Sting' clue about Robert Shaw.

My favorite movie.

I'm just not super excited about the second chance crew. I know there were a few folks during the season where we said 'oh man they need to get that lady back, she just had bad luck on the final' or something like that but none of these folks are them. at least that I can recall.

Yeah, I recognized that Ron last week. Was glad to see him go....he had no emotion at all.

Daughter has pointed out a link between NY Times mini crossword and Jeopardy questions.

stevej37 12-19-2025 05:13 PM

^^^ On the same day?
That would not be good.

Wasn't there something similar happened back in the 50's or 60's? I can remember something bad happening in the news concerning a game show.

berettafan 12-19-2025 06:36 PM

She’s not sure, just within a few days it seems.

Old game show issue was producers sabotaging less desirable contestants to manage ratings iirc. And giving answers to more desirable people.

stevej37 12-19-2025 06:57 PM

I googled it and it came up with this....
I can imagine the uproar.:)

In addition to Twenty-One (subject of the video above), The $64,000 Question was also implicated in a high profile quiz show scandal. And there were other too...

Amazing comeback by Stella after losing it all earlier on tonight's show.

berettafan 01-14-2026 05:21 PM

that was pretty impressive. I do think she was the smartest in that group even though we were all pulling for Harvey.

stevej37 01-15-2026 04:57 PM

Stella narrowly wins...tomorrows game will tell.
