I just started watching it. Tudyk is hilarious. The sheriff is right out of Blazing Saddles.

The actress playing his wife doesn't really tick the boxes as traditionally beautiful but dang I think she's sexy AF.

I like it. Funny in an absurd way.

Me as well.

I’ll save a few then binge a bit.

I’m not feelin’ it. Half way through S2.

Occasionally funny. Well done but derivative campiness.

Overall, a competent nod to My Favorite Martian/Mork and Mindy.

For me the best part of the show is his affection for Earth and Earthlings that at times reluctantly comes through, as he gains more insight into the human race and all it's peculiarities.

Theme-wise think The Day the Earth Stood Still or Starman.

And his love of Pizza!

I get it now. Almost through S2.

Pretty funny.

That part of the writing is one of the most important, endearing, and well done aspects of the show, IMO. It's much needed for the overall arc, and really spurs the viewers to THINK and be more involved.

And outside of that, I love the off-the-wall goofy lines they write for Tudyk...

"Cold air on my underparts keeps my scrotum taut."
