A writer by the name of Washington Irving best known for fantastical fiction wrote a book about Columbus discovering the new world. The grain of truth - Columbus had a disagreement about the ability to sale west to reach the existing desired trade in the far east. The original contention, is that Columbus would not have the range to reach the far east by sailing west, which indeed, his ships and supplies did not. Columbus, thought the earth was smaller than it was, and was wrong. Irving, in his story, wanted Columbus to be right. Irving, loved the rediculous. Irving made a switch. The disagreement was changed from the size of the earth to a disagreement about the shape of the earth. This allowed Columbus to the brilliant hero of his story, and allowed Irving to make a lot of rediculous tales spun into his account. Most people I encounter seem to believe Irving's fantasy tail that Columbus was contending that the earth wasn't flat. So yes, grain of truth but distorted has resulted in a lot of flat earth falsehood. So there, I've told you a story. SmileWavy |

Obviously FB and the MSM brainwash people as well by presenting their interpretation of events (not facts). The difference is that they aren’t talking about the inner earth people, perpetual motion machines, crazy health treatments, anti gravity creams, aliens, ufos, and how it’s illegal to go to Antarctica... |
As to corporate stock sales by insiders?
You do know that these are planned way in advance. The SEC has strict timing rules. The word is coincidence. |

What has happened to eliminate a person's common sense ? I can understand if a person has a mental illness or dementia . But outside of that where has common sense gone ? I watch some main stream news , get some news online and our local newspaper .
I don't want to kill anyone , I don't wear a tin foil hat . I contribute to society . My wife is the same . We don't believe we are special just regular folks . Why is this so uncommon ? Or maybe it isn't but just seems that way ? |

It distorts to cut down the field of view. Now when I wrote that, I did not have lizard people and flat earthers in mind. But it still fits, the method is the same. Refer to familiar events and names(The truth in the magnifying glass) then fill in by telling about the field of view that is obscured. |
You and your wife are not uncommon. Well, except that you read PPOT. ;):D

It is difficult to claim that 75% of Israelis to refuse to be vaccinated when over 70% of the Israeli population has had at least one vaccination shot as of February 15th. Source: BBC News:http://forums.pelicanparts.com/uploa...1613585197.png |
I don’t think there’s anything terribly dangerous about the Covid vaccine, although I’m not in a big hurry to get one, if I ever get one at all.
On the other hand, there are those that wouldn’t trust Bill Gates further than they can kick him, which isn’t far enough to suit me, and some of that is rooted in medical science. He has some viewpoints of what he envisions for the future of the world that are likely different than yours and you probably wouldn’t like what he really thinks. If you want to view into that world, read this article and click on a few of the links for background info. https://meaninginhistory.blogspot.com/2021/02/what-keeps-bill-gates-awoke-at-night.html?m=1 |
Bill Gates is a nut job. You don’t need the media to establish that little factoid. The problem is that he has the money to push his agenda. Did you know he owns more farmland than anyone else in America? And he recently stated in an interview that all “rich” countries like the USA should be eating fake beef, because cow farts cause global warming? Also that he’s a well established globalist and that both he and his parents were public advocates for population control. Put all of those facts together and the potential to manipulate our food supply for a greater goal gets pretty spooky.

Quoting a jewish news source? Saying they were smarter than I? Or just discussing the COVID topic at hand? Which one? Seem like you have an agenda here. Careful with your cries of wolf because that speed dial button will wear out eventually. (but thank you for your alternative state-run source of information.) AKAIK..and this is only generalized personal opinion to date..is that the Phizer vac could be killing or maiming people. I've seen quite a lot of 'reports' on the internet enough to make me wary. When Congress passes laws to make the manufacturers automatically indemnified it doesn't bode well for trust either. The Moderna sounds like it is good only for a few years. There is also talk of the virus morphing rapidly and next a series of yearly shots will be required for travel indefinitely. Some states have already done or tried that. The UK is already imposing a 'covid-passport' to enter the country (private jets and immigrants not applicable) and Japan has a two-week isolation period for entry. The direct correlation to policy-vs-result seems to be the opposite in so many countries. Meanwhile scientists are baffled at India's recovery. The accurate medical information, the laws and rules, how they are being applied, and the eventual result of this situation are still literally chaos at this point. |

It might be poor quality, it might be full of chemicals, but it did come from an animal.
I’ll take that, over something grown in a test tube, all day long. |
Just an idea. The FDA could define "meat" as having originated from a living animal, having been used as an active part of that animal, plus receiving a blood supply with oxygen/homones/nutrients/etc
(with all the micro nutrients) Anything else would be considered synthesized laboratory waste material and require special acceptance labeling etc to be certified as consumable. (No mixing that stuff into the batch, ya hear) |
The power grid in Austin, Texas, could not handle -18F. NBC news report from the mayor. Wasn't even below 0F.
