Maybe that was a suggestion from the cops, and it's a sting.

before posting stoopid things, try to think about what she could do - the walker is not missing, so a reward for finding him makes no sense

She can't, not really, but it sounds good.

JoeBob, your anti-British distortion of the history of WW1 and WW2 is just a reflection of your ignorance of the subject.
In WW1 for example, the US forces did not actually take part in battles until 1918, and the idea that the Germans rolled over defeated as soon as they were engaged by Americans is preposterous
Your assessment of Britain's role in WW2 is just downright insulting in its numerous palpably incorrect statements.
Are you unaware of the Battle of Britain in which the German airforce was seriously weakened? Fabric covered Swordfish biplanes torpedoed the Bismarck and left her at the mercy of the British Navy. Fabric covered bombers, particularly the geodetic structure Wellington were bombing German targets way before the Americans even arrived in Europe. The US was just geographically fortunate that it didn't receive blitzkrieg bombing by the Axis forces, Pearl Harbour was minute compared to the damage other countries received.
The Japanese occupied part of Aleutians but left of their own accord shortly thereafter. If I was as facile as you JoeBob I could have said it was because they probably hated trashy Anerican food.

So does the person who "found" the dogs get the $500k?

The article my wife read this morning implied that yes the woman that " found " the dogs gets the reward . I have no dog in this hunt ( ha get it ) but none of us knows what lady Gaga is or isn't doing behind the scenes/press . She may be paying for the dog walkers hospital stay , she may have given $$$ to his family . Or she may be doing nothing we don't know . But his family thanked her for a reason we just don't know what that reason is . It sounds like the dog walker will make a full recovery which is the best news out of this story .

No one here has any idea how she treats or doesn't treat people who work for her. One thing is for sure, she is known as one of the nicest people in the music industry. As for the $500k reward, she'll pay it unless the cops determine that the person who returned the dogs was in on it. $500k is nothing to her. She makes more in one day when she tours.

The only part of this story that is weird to me is people's love for French Bulldogs. If I had one, I'd pay someone to take it off my hands. The only schittier dog I can imagine is some small dog that you carry around who yips constantly. They are an absolutely worthless, inbred animal. Most of the ones I've seen have the personality of an insect. Reminds me of this classic:

Just curious as to if one is responsible for taxes on a large no questions asked reward?

I don’t understand this post.

The dog walker was taken to hospital and is expected to recover.

Just because she offered a reward for the return of her dogs does not mean she is not taking care of the walker.
