When Bob Lutz became Ex VP of BMW they asked his opinion on changing the famous blue and white roundel logo, which they were considering doing. He said absolutely not, there are companies that would kill for such an established and recognizable logo - don't change a good thing. So the famous roundel remains to this day.

Since anything on Yahoo is right up there with the rag mags at the grocery store I doubt it. However, I find it amusing that VW sends me constant emails to buy a new gasser, then tells me how great the EVWS are in a few years. Why would I buy a new gas one if you told me how great the next ones are? Also, if VW hadn't completely fk..ed all diesels maybe they wouldn't have to sweat it.

It honestly wouldn’t shock me, VW of America are a bunch of morons. They proved it when they started making “Americanized” versions of their European models that were bigger, cheaper, poorly made, and not well equipped. Basically the opposite of their success up to that point. They have tried their best to play the same game as the Big 3 in America and it hasn’t worked out very well.
