Luxury Liner. Looks like a hoot, pretty straight and it's a 2d hardtop. Win! for Big Bonny.

I like it. I wouldn't want that particular one, but it's cool in it's big old car kind of way.

Likely the ignition switch or the starter itself is not real reliable and no one is gonna steal it, so let it idle.

It's got a Ricky and Bubbles vibe goin' on.....

I would have reached in and turned it off to help the owner save gas.

Epoxy then high solids primer, lots of hand work then sealed.

Letting it run so hood can flash off solvents before color goes on.

all Indians are the same block mid 60's 326/350/389/400/421/428/455

that car is likely 389 or 421

I see a budget classic. No rust, no major body damage, all 4 hub caps and trim rings, vinyl top intact, it's a 2 door. Cheap to buy, cheap to maintain, cheap to insure, fun to drive. Park at the grocery store - no worries.

stevej37 04-01-2021 12:30 PM

^^^ What about the 15MPG?

15mpg ?? you wish!

stevej37 04-01-2021 12:56 PM

^^^ lol..I was going to put 12mpg at first. I can't really remember what they got...gas was so cheap back then that nobody paid attention to mpg.
If it came with the 4bbl carb....prob less yet.

URY914 04-01-2021 01:05 PM

It has STYLE compared to that bland aero/faceless/econobox next to it.

Walter_Middie 04-01-2021 01:28 PM

We had a 1966 Colony Park station wagon with a 428 - it averaged 6.8 MPG. At 16 I took my drivers test in that baby. Perfect car for parents with kids - I didn't want to drive it or buy gas for it.
