April 7....82 degrees outside in MI

Incredibly nice weather for this time of year!
What could top that?.....getting both the 911's out for a long drive!
First time out this year for the black one...started right up like it hadn't been setting since Nov. :)

You forgot your beer at the Turtle pond...

GH85Carrera 04-07-2021 12:13 PM

We were in the upper 70s yesterday, today at 3:15 PM it is just 58 and clear skies.

I am ready for spring to get here, even if it does I will have to more once a week again.

84 here ... ain't ready for it. I need to push mow my front lawn, went out to start ... now posting on PPOT instead.

My Lab decided it was to hot to chase a ball more than a few times also :D

cabmandone 04-07-2021 12:42 PM

Great isn't it!?

stevej37 04-07-2021 12:44 PM

^^^ yes sir!

cabmandone 04-07-2021 12:47 PM

My son asked me to turn the A/C on yesterday. I said "no way in hell... it's April. We just had the heat running 3 days ago"

stevej37 04-07-2021 12:50 PM

^^^ That sounds like MI....'If you don't like the weather....wait a day'

I had the heat on yesterday morning ... by late afternoon, it was time for the A/C. I blamed it on global warming :D

flatbutt 04-07-2021 01:36 PM

I finally let the pellet stove go out.

stevej37 04-07-2021 01:57 PM

Biking today...the trails were totally infested with swarms of black gnats.
It was still fun.

JackDidley 04-07-2021 02:26 PM

82° here also. Did a lot of mowing and enjoyed every bit of it. :D

stevej37 04-07-2021 02:31 PM

^^^ grass hasn't started growing here yet...but I'm ready and anxious!

Adrian Thompson 04-07-2021 02:45 PM

It's awesome, I'm already building my 'top down tan' from driving my Boxster here in SE Michigan over the last couple of weeks.

stevej37 04-07-2021 02:48 PM

^^^ excellent. This summer is setting up to be great!

stevej37 04-07-2021 03:53 PM

Climate change is the best!

GothingNC 04-07-2021 04:24 PM

Toasty here in NC while getting buried by the tree pollen explosion. http://forums.pelicanparts.com/uploa...1617841447.jpg

stevej37 04-07-2021 04:42 PM

^^^
We came close to that today. Normally, our high temp is only in the low 50's at this time.

stevej37 04-07-2021 04:49 PM

The black 911 sputtered for about 5 seconds before settling down when starting.
By the end of the 10 mile drive it was running as good as ever.

For a 41 year old car...I couldn't ask for better. :)

stevej37 04-07-2021 05:59 PM

First time out...without the top on? I know it has never happened here.

Here in SoCal, it's not un unusual to run the heat and A/C in the car on the same day. Not uncommon at all. :)

I put the snow shovels away two days ago, so if we get a snow storm you can blame me. ;)

stevej37 04-08-2021 11:36 AM

Looking at the 10 day...not good.
Highs in the 50's and Tues a high of 48

120* at 4 PM in late June...can top that climate change...anymore climate change deniers

stevej37 04-08-2021 02:34 PM

With the rain and warm temps in the last few days...my lawn has turned at least two shades darker green.
The mower will needed in the next week.

wdfifteen 04-08-2021 03:10 PM

Got the push mower out and cut the dog run 10 days ago (lots of "fertilizer" on it). Fired up the Grasshopper yesterday and hit the high spots. We'll be mowing in earnest next week. I'm going to uncover the pool next week and start getting the new pool heater set up.

red-beard 04-08-2021 05:29 PM

90F today. The pool is 81F.

Would have the 911 out but i plowed and salted the roads here last week and we haven't had any rain to wash the salt off yet.

Four inches of snow yesterday. Spring just keeps getting further away.

stevej37 04-09-2021 11:35 AM

^^^ But didn't you have a real mild winter? Or am I thinking of last year?

https://video.nest.com/live/4Lc0WbToTr

varmint 04-09-2021 11:37 AM

It was mild. Til about the end of February. We’ve been getting **** on ever since.
