mental image of us pelicans
 

Some of you have shown your face here, so we can relate that to the text written, but many of you have icons or what ever you call that lil' pic under your screen name. Do you ever have an mental image of the person behind that little picture when you are reading their post?

I don't have specific images in mind, but the general image I have of most everybody turns out to be much younger than they actually are. Even when I read their ages, I still have that younger image in my mind. I suppose it's because there are so many dynamic personalities here.

I clicked on this. There were 5 posts at the time with island's being the 5th. But I can only see 3 and the screen bottoms out. I thought I'd post to see what happens now.

On the subject: I think pics and details over the years have sometimes defined a member. More so, not so much. Just like imagining what a radio announcer looks like and then when you see them it's totally different.

And the best part of that phenomenon is listening to a woman's voice and picturing her w/o knowing anything. Boy does that ever reveal some big surprises!
