No, but at least not as stupid as what Sugarwood posted, and sounds a bit tongue in cheek.

This is VERY common, particularly for people with COPD or that need oxygen

File a complaint with the appropriate state agencies

What is stupid? Blaming the state for his own ****ty health? If he can't even wear a saggy piece of thin paper cloth over his face, he's got bigger problems than ranting about the "Oregon legislature rules & regs Kommisar" Then he gets a HEPA mask contraption with a fan and makes everything even worse for himself.

Sugar, how does it feel to know probably 90% of folks here despise you? From the looks of it, it seems to inspire you. Strange to say the least. Tim

I support Sugar's alternate reality. We can't all conform to society's expectation.

You can always add him to 'Ignore'. Unlike some blustering 'moderators'.

Millions of Americans already do have existing medical issues which a mask will only compound. And yes, some caused it themselves with a lifetime of bad habits. Others lived and worked somewhere toxic and were exposed by proximity. Others were born with it. Whatever the causes are is irrelevant. Earth oxygen levels are lower now than a hundred years ago.

I know someone who just went to hospital twice from not being able to breathe from his neck being swollen. They found a tooth abscess the first time and closed the file. The second time around, they discovered an allergic reaction to one of his medications. He'd already survived a half dozen other things which should have killed him stone cold dead long before and had always bounced back stronger than ever. He laughs whenever a mask is suggested.

I see overweight people jogging with a mask and question their judgement.
Oxygen deprivation can permanently damage the brain. (ie autoerotic asphyxiation and chain smoking in enclosed spaces)

That's funny, when I wear a mask and check my blood Ox meter, it stays at 98.
But, sure, masks cause brain damage. K.

I'm confused, is this the mask you are referring to?

If yes to any of those You should be staying at home as much as possible. If you need to go out for medical care or some other essential do your best to wear a good mask.
