Nice wings!!
|
I giggle about the Honda Jet.
1) I like it because it look different, and I like different. 2) The owner of a company I worked for bough one and hated it. He would bad mouth the plane for only seating 7 (8 including the pilot) and that wasnt big enough for Him, his wife, their two dogs, and the Kids and Grandkids (10 people + 2 dogs + 1 pilot) It so defines his personality/expectations. Buy a jet that sits seven, then bad mouth it for not seating 12. |
^^^ It has a bathroom...put the dang dogs in there!!
|
Not just a bathroom, a bathroom with a skylight....
For what it is, it is a pretty capable platform. Definitely competitive in the market it is in. |
$5 Mil is a low price...for that jet.
If I could afford one...the Honda would def be the one. |
Here is a video of it at take off

^^^ Nice...hit vtec in every gear!
Well done. |

That's funny, I'm forwarding that to my Honda associates

Such a cool and innovative little plane. I’m glad they have been able to make it a commercial success.

Agree |
I'm a fan of anything and everything Honda. And I particularly like this one!
|
Honda Jet! Now thats cool! The engine nacelles are interesting, but it works. Don't care for the paint job though...
|
That's cool but they should have used the sound of a 3.5L V-6 instead of a 4-cyl.

Honda has come a long ways in just my lifetime. (I'm 67) I remember, as an early teen, riding my first Honda 90 Then hearing about the Honda cars. Now Jets! |
Great to see some Honda love
This quote for me is 100% of what the company is about http://forums.pelicanparts.com/uploa...1622497793.jpg Honda goes racing because it's difficult, it's all about the engineering challenge and how the lessons learned can be applied to their products than any marketing publicity. I've seen this approach 1st hand while working with a few of their bright young engineers. They were seconded into the companies F1 efforts for a few years of fast track learning There is no other company that has such an extensive and varied history of racing achievements  |
^^^ Great comment. :)
