Funny, I was just thinking that he is one of the traditions I miss most about the race.
I can remember the first time I ever saw him sing it (on TV) and was blown away by the fact that Gomer Pile had that kind of voice. |
Same! I learned of him through his roles on Andy and as a USMC. Later heard him sing and wow, so good. His vocal range must’ve helped being an actor a tad easier.
