Anti-Glare Film For TV
I get a lot of glare on my office TV, because it is by the window. It is bolted to the wall, I ain’t moving it. Anyone have experience with anti-glare films on TVs?
|
I have yet to see any good anti-glare films.
The Samsung Q8 sets have some very impressive anti-glare first surface. I bought one largely for that reason. |
Bummer!
What about darkening film on the window? It is an old multipane steel window so installing film on all the panes will be a PITA but I could do it. |
Why watch TV in the office?
|
Why not use a roll-up solar screen(s) like they have in restaurants? They come in different opacities and colors, they are surprisingly affordable and work very well. Blinds Galore is one place that has them.

I actually have blinds that can block sun from the window. That eliminates the glare. It just feels pretty drastic, like I have to turn the place into a cave to see the TV. Oh, the TV is used for charts and so on.

I tried whatever you can find on amazon.
Not happy. Not good results. Bought new TV |
