On that note....how about an Aussie TDF win in today's stage?

Well, after 245 years we figured we'd 'forgive and forget' the more rebellious parts of the Dominions! ;)

We celebrate July 4th as the day we declared, Screw you King George, and your damn taxes and laws! The men that signed the Declaration of Independence knew they were committing treason in the eyes of the king, and if capture they would be executed. That is real motivation to fight hard for freedom.

We had to fight two wars with Great Brittan, and of course win both wars, to actually be free from the king.

Now England is one of our best allies. I am always humbled that of all the nations of the world, only England declared war on Hitler and tried to defeat German attacks on other countries.

LOL! Lending a hand against Hitler in the 1940's helped sooth the unpleasantries of the late 1700's... SmileWavy
